Get out your party hats and chill the champagne; it’s time to party like it’s 2013. Before the explosive SugarHouse New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Delaware River Waterfront, join fellow revelers at one of the many New Year’s Eve celebrations taking place on December 31.

The Blue Cross RiverRink is hosting their annual New Year’s Eve Party on Ice, a family-friendly affair that boasts one of the best views of the city’s breathtaking fireworks displays over the Delaware River. Skaters can catch one of two sparkling shows during the early (5 -7 p.m.) and late (11 p.m.-1 a.m.) parties. Tickets are $35 for skaters and $25 for spectators.
In addition to presenting the SugarHouse New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront at 6 p.m. and 12 midnight on the Delaware River Waterfront, SugarHouse Casino will be hosting a New Year’s Eve bash of their own. Celebrate at the Refinery restaurant and bar from 10 p.m. midnight with live music from the FunkyHorns Band. Tickets for the dance party are $65 in advance or $75 at the door and include two hours of open bar, passed appetizers, a champagne toast at midnight and New Year’s Eve hats, horns and other goodies. Plus, get an exclusive viewing spot of the Penn’s Landing fireworks from SugarHouse’s Waterfront deck.
Bonus: SugarHouse will be extending the operating hours for the Sugar Express until 6 a.m. to help revelers get home safely after the party ends.
A maritime New Year’s Eve celebration is on deck at the Independence Seaport Museum along the Philadelphia waterfront. The museum is staying open until 7 p.m. for a family-friendly celebration on the second-floor terrace with noisemakers, party hats, sparkling apple cider and a great view of the 6 p.m. fireworks show over the Delaware River.
Party with the fishes at Adventure Aquarium’s first annual New Year’s Eve Splash. Families can celebrate the New Year with the Aquarium’s shark mascot Gill while enjoying a special New Year’s Eve “Countdown” Dance Party from 5-8:30 p.m. with access to the entire aquarium, stunning views of the

The Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing kicking off the New Year with not one, but two celebrations.
Feast on a buffet dinner at Keating’s River Grill before heading outside from 5:30-6:30pm for the fireworks extravaganza and a dessert buffet loaded with cupcakes, ice cream and candy.
