Get out your party hats and chill the champagne; it’s time to party like it’s 2014. Before the explosive SugarHouse New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Delaware River Waterfront, join fellow revelers at one of the many New Year’s Eve celebrations taking place on December 31.

Blue Cross RiverRink

Winter sports enthusiasts can celebrate the New Year at the Blue Cross RiverRink’s New Year’s Eve Party on Ice, a family-friendly affair that boasts one of the best views of the city’s breathtaking fireworks displays over the Delaware River. At the seasonal pop-up winter lounge, The Lodge at Waterfront Winterfest, an all-night bash kicks off at 9 p.m. For an $85 ticket, count down to 2014 with an open bar until 1 a.m., passed hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast at midnight, and DJ spinning inside the 400-person warming tent all night. At midnight, just step outside to see the waterfront fireworks. Tickets are available online.

SugarHouse Casino

SugarHouse Casino is throwing a massive celebration to ring in 2014, presenting Philadelphia’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Delaware River Waterfront AND the Mummers Parade on New Year’s Day. Say goodbye to 2013 with SugarHouse’s Funkadelphia New Year’s Eve celebration featuring live music from the Sensational Soul Cruisers, an open bar, appetizers and an incredible view of the fireworks at midnight (tickets are $65 in advance, $75 at the door). Just want in on the fireworks? Enjoy hot beverages, tasty snacks and a front row view from the riverfront walk for both the 6 p.m. or midnight fireworks shows.

Independence Seaport Museum

A maritime New Year’s Eve celebration is on deck at the Independence Seaport Museum along the waterfront. Revelers of all ages can rabbi a complimentary party hat and noisemaker before heading outside to the second-floor terrace to watch the fireworks spectacular over the Delaware River at 6 p.m. Countdown to midnight with Vintage New Year’s Eve at the Seaport Museum, featuring an open bar, snacks, live music and a champagne toast when the clock strikes 12.

Adventure Aquarium

Party with the fishes at Adventure Aquarium’s second annual New Year’s Eve Splash. Families can celebrate the New Year with the Aquarium’s shark mascot Gill while enjoying a special New Year’s Eve “Countdown” Dance Party from 5-8:30 p.m. Guests also get exclusive access to the entire aquarium, family-friendly music and activities, up-close animal encounters and a free gift for children under 12. Enjoy a front row view of the fireworks at 6 p.m. from the Aquarium’s Waterfront promenade Tickets cost $30 for adults, $25 for children 2-12 (children under two get in FREE) and can be purchased online here.

Battleship New Jersey

Celebrate the New Year from the decks of the Battleship New Jersey, the nation’s largest battleship. Featuring spectacular views of the New Year’s Eve Fireworks at 6 p.m. and midnight, the Battleship New Jersey is ringing in the New Year with music, dancing, food and beverages for just a $10 donation per person. Guests can also enter for a chance to fire the Battleship’s five-inch portside gun after each fireworks show!

Dave & Buster’s

Dave & Busters is celebrating New Year’s Eve with not one, but two parties. Bring the family for a fun night of games, dinner and entertainment before getting a front row seat for the early fireworks show at 6 p.m. ($50 per person — includes $40 Power Card; $25 per person without Power Card). The fun continues from 9 p.m.–1 a.m. with a New Year’s Party for adults 21-years and older. Celebrate with a four-hour open bar, dinner, dessert and dancing before watching the fireworks at midnight ($90 per person or $160 per couple with open bar; $55 per person or $100 per couple without open bar).

Spirit of Philadelphia

Those in the mood for a holiday cruise can set sail on the Spirit of Philadelphia for two special sailing adventures to ring in the New Year. Board the boat at 8:30 p.m. when a night of dancing, entertainment, food and an open bar will begin. The Spirit of Philadelphia will cruise the waterfront from 9 p.m.-12:30 a.m. and will finish off with a dockside party until 1 a.m. Tickets are $174.90. An evening cruise is also available for a family-friendly dinner cruise from 4-6:30 p.m. with views of the 6 p.m. fireworks.

New Year’s Eve at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia

The Hyatt Regency at Penn’s Landing is kicking off the New Year with not one, but two celebrations. Enjoy a delicious New Year’s Eve Family Buffet starting at 4 p.m. Save room for the Dessert Explosion before the 6 p.m. fireworks show at Penn’s Landing. ($60 for adults, $30 for children 3-12). Starting at 8 p.m., adults can partake in a starlight soiree in the Columbus ballroom featuring a dinner buffet and wine bar followed by drinks and dancing at Keatings River Grill, all leading up to the fireworks spectacular at midnight ($135 per person).

Stratus Lounge at the Hotel Monaco

Party under the stars at Hotel Monaco’s Stratus Rooftop Lounge. Party into the night with a DJ, champagne toast and party favors. Put on your best outfit and celebrate with an open bar, special New Year’s cocktails, live entertainment and a champagne toast at midnight ($150 per person). VIP table packages are also available. Crystal Tea Room Grand Ballroom

In the richly appointed Crystal Tea Room ballroom in the historic Wannamaker Building, an all-night black-tie party rages from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. with an open bar, buffet dinner, live entertainment and a silent auction. Tickets range from $30 (for after 12:30 a.m. admission) to a $215 all-inclusive, reserved seating VIP pass. Tickets are available online.

New Year’s Eve at the Sheraton Society Hill

Dance all night to the sounds of classic, rock and pop with the City Rhythm Orchestra at the Sheraton Society Hill. The party begins at 7 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres followed by a four-course dinner and dancing, and a champagne toast at midnight. Just step outside for a peek at the midnight fireworks display, too. Tickets are $130, not including tax and gratuity, and are available online.

10 Arts Bistro & Lounge Party

For $175 per person, camp out at 10 Arts for the evening (and for the midnight balloon drop and champagne toast!) for a six-course dinner at 8 p.m. The six-course meal is $75 for children ages 4 to 12. The à la carte menu will be available from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Revolution House

Celebrate the New Year on the Revolution House’s heated terrace overlooking the Ben Franklin Bridge for great views of the New Year’s Eve fireworks on the Delaware River. Celebrate with drink specials, music and a champagne toast at midnight with NO COVER.

New Year’s Eve in the Piazza

Join thousands of fellow revelers for one massive New Year’s celebration at the Piazza at Schmidt’s. One ticket gets you access to buffets at PYT, Gunners Run, and Kings Oak and a massive 20,000-square-foot heated tent covering the Piazza.
