1. Northbrook Canoe Company

It’s hard to think of a better afternoon for water-lovers than an afternoon kayaking or canoeing along the amazingly scenic Brandywine River. Trips vary from one to six hours and tubing is also available. Northbrook’s season runs May through September, so take advantage soon!

Tip: Northbrook is a great place to picnic, whether on your boat or in one of the designated areas.

2. Delaware River Tubing

Tip: Be sure to visit the famous floating Hot Dog Man BBQ stand, for a free meal halfway along the route.

3. Lake Nockamixon

Lake Nockamixon is the largest lake in Southeastern Pennsylvania, allowing it to offer boating of all kinds. Don’t have a boat? No problem! Visit the boat rental concession and choose from canoes, motorboats, rowboats, sailboats, paddleboats and more.
