Rock out in Rittenhouse Square during the 22nd annual “Concerts in the Park” series, sponsored by Philadelphia Weekly.

The free concert series attracts thousands with live music from reputable local and national bands spanning musical genres from jazz to rock, country to R&B.

Aug. 15 – Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band with special guests TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb
Aug. 22 – Ground Up featuring the Lawsuits
Aug. 29 – the Strapping Fieldhands / the Spinning Leaves


Concerts occur on Wednesday at 7 p.m and go until 9. And the best part — they’re FREE!

Outsider Tip

Arrive early to secure a nice grassy area perfect for a picnic. Bring a blanket, some light snacks, refreshments and, most importantly, good company.
