First Person Arts Festival
The only festival of its kind dedicated to personal stories from everyday people
November 7-19, 2016
The only festival of its kind in the world, the 15th annual First Person Arts Festival is a celebration of people and the stories they have to share.
Artists and everyday people from across the country take part in the annual event, sharing personal experiences on stage.
The festival includes documentary film showings, live performances, workshops with festival artists, author readings, art exhibitions and other special programming.
About First Person Arts
Guided by the belief that everyone has a story to tell and that sharing those stories connects individuals with one another, First Person Arts aims to empower the storyteller in each of us. Workshops and interactive arts programs unfold all year long, including regularly occurring StorySlams every month.
The annual First Person Arts Festival showcases the organization’s mission in a grand celebration that’s said to be only festival of its kind in the world.
