First Person Arts Festival
The only festival of its kind dedicated to personal stories from everyday people
November 4-15, 2015
Now in its 14th year, the First Person Arts Festival is the only festival of its kind in the world and a celebration of real life.
Artists and everyday people from across the country take part in the annual event, sharing their personal stories and experiences.
The festival includes documentary film premieres, live performances, workshops with Festival artists, author readings, art exhibits and special celebrations.
About First Person Arts
Guided by the belief that everyone has a story to tell and telling our stories connects us with each other, First Person Arts aims to empower the storyteller in each of us by hosting workshops and producing interactive arts programs all year long, including twice monthly StorySlams and regularly held workshops.
The annual First Person Arts Festival, the flagship festival of memoir and documentary art, showcases the organization’s mission in a grand celebration that’s said to be only festival of its kind in the world.
