Franklin Flea Holiday Market
In addition to the many new retail opportunities in Center City, the Philadelphia-centric Franklin Flea Holiday Market returns for six Saturday shopping days, November 15 through December 20.
Housed in an architecturally stunning historic Center City Philadelphia building at 8th and Market streets, the Franklin Flea will pop up for its second year in the former home of long-shuttered department store Strawbridge & Clothier, located right next door to the brand-new Century 21 department store.
November 15 marks the holiday market’s grand opening, and the market will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday for six weeks through Saturday, December 20.
At the wintertime market, shoppers can expect a finely tuned selection of around 50 vendors set up amid the antique chandeliers and marble columns of the historic space.
Though vendors will rotate throughout the run of the market, ensuring the selection of goods always feels fresh. And it wouldn’t be a proper flea market without epicurean goods and snacks. Franklin Flea expects multiple food vendors on any given week.
Adding to the festival-feeling market, live and DJ music keeps patrons grooving. Every week, hear tunes curated by the experts from Bridgeset Sound.
