A Ziptrip to Skippack

Sidewalks are alive with people purchasing gifts, peering at tempting menus or window shopping

Quaint to its floorboards, Skippack embraces its historic appeal. George Washington and the Continental Army may have marched through, but you’ll want to check out the 75-plus individually owned stores and restaurants that bring heart and quirkiness back into the shopping experience. Amid the covered bridge and old-fashioned lampposts, visitors find stylish gift stores and galleries and buzzing restaurants and bars that speak to a modern-day audience. With a mixture of European charm and hippie ease, this shopping-centric town has evolved through the years to become a popular tourist destination.

Cardinal Hollow Winery

But the evening doesn’t stop there. Local wine tasting rooms such as the Cardinal Hollow Winery will heat things up with its popular Jalapeno wine, made from 100% Jalapeno's. No grapes. You’ve got to give it try… or at least a sip. The Village Wine Cellar is another hot spot for local wines and live entertainment, with quite the selection from the Crossing Vineyards and Winery.

And for the sweet tooth, Euro Delights and its Chocolate Mocha Grenache and Black Forrest Tortes will curb it.
