Independence Living History Center
Piecing together the stories of the past with the tools of the futurePiecing together the stories of the past with the tools of the future
Description
History is brought to you in a brand new way at this remarkable meeting spot, where visitors can see archaeologists work on pieces discovered at the excavation site of the National Constitution Center, and hear storytellers make local history come alive.
The starting point for Once Upon a Nation tours, the Independence Living History Center is also the stage for 1776: The Movie-Musical, an interactive show and hysterically historical treat for the entire family.
New to the Center is the Ben Franklin Learning Lab and the Archeology Learning Lab, two great additions to the bustling center for history.
