Wayne Art Center
The Main Line’s first art center
Even if you don’t have an artistic bone in your body, the Wayne Art Center is sure to bring out your inner Picasso, Mozart or Rodin. Visiting the Center is a complete art experience — you can take dance and music lessons, sit in on a sculpture workshop or peruse nationally recognized exhibits.
Established as the first art center on the Main Line, the Wayne Art Center has been enriching the cultural needs of the community since 1930.
And now that it boasts a newly renovated, 27,000 square-foot space, the Wayne Art Center comes complete with state-of-the-art studios, galleries and a gallery shop — perfect for emerging and established artists to hone their skills and display their work.
The expansion of the Main Line mainstay was necessary to meet the Center’s growing demand for art education. And with such outreach programs as art therapy for senior citizens and children with special needs, the newly designed Center will nurture the artistic talent of all ages and abilities.
