Bucks County River Country
Tubing, canoeing, rafting and kayaking on the Delaware
Want to get wet? Canoe, raft, kayak or tube — just take your pick. Bucks County River Country in Point Pleasant, Pa., will shuttle you up the Delaware for a leisurely float downriver, past some of the most beautiful scenery in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The trip will satisfy birdwatchers, anglers and nature photographers as well as families just out for fun.
Life jackets are provided and mandatory for children under 12 years old. Wear plenty of sunscreen and water shoes. Checking car keys at The River Supply Store is recommended, since keys are often lost in the water
Sometimes called the “Eden of the East,” the Delaware River moves at an average speed of one and a half miles per hour. The water’s typically about five feet deep, and a refreshing 80 degrees all summer long.
