Enjoy a locally grown and produced wine in Chester County or at Peddler’s Village
Chaddsford Winery has two locations where visitors can relax in a luxurious sampling session of dry and sweet wines and locally made cider, too.
For a charming country atmosphere, head to the winery’s main facility, housed in a historic 17th-century dairy barn, where you can bring your own picnic and enjoy the open-air atmosphere of the Chester County vineyard.
Or, scoot on over to Bucks County and visit Peddler’s Village, home to six restaurants, a luxurious 70-room inn and 70 specialty shops, including Chaddsford Winery's second location. The lively tasting room and gift shop offers tastings, wine flights and many classes and special events, along with a "Reserve Tasting Room" that is available for private parties and rentals.
It all started more than two decades ago inside a 17th-century renovated barn with a husband-and-wife team on a mission to make wine. The emphasis was on small outputs, but add the grape-friendly microclimate of the historic Brandywine Valley and a serious passion for wine-making, and pretty soon you arrive to where the winery has come today.
Reaping international awards, like the Tasters Guild International Wine Competition Gold Medal, Chaddsford Winery's current production reaches an annual 30,000 cases. Distribution now runs up and down the entire East Coast, but the goal remains the same: to craft approachable, food-friendly wines for every palate.
Chaddsford Winery is always hosting special occasions focused on the celebration of wine. Be sure to check out the winery's robust events calendar, which includes fan favorites like Baconfest (April and September), Food Truck Competitions (May, August and November) and Adult Trick-or-Treat (October).
