Full or half-day guided fishing trips
Get the most out of your fishing trip with a little help from experienced guides. Whether it’s trout or bass, salt or freshwater, Mainstream Outfitters can help you find your fish with one of their guided fishing trips.
Choose between the rushing fresh waters of the Delaware River, the Little Lehigh and the Big Lehigh, or Tohickon, Bushkill, Mud Run and Hickory Run creeks. Or maybe you’d prefer to head east for saltwater fishing at Island Beach State Park.
Whatever your preferences, trips can be customized to match your specific needs. And you’ll be in the expert company of one of Mainstream’s guides, a huge advantage considering each of whom has more than 30 years of local fishing experience.
Mainstream Outfitters offers classes for adults and children on how to tie your own flies and how to identify, preserve and match the stream minnows and other insects that are found in local waters.
You will need to make reservations for a guided fishing trip in advance. You’ll also need your fishing license. Your own tools and hip boots are necessary for the fly tying and insect identification classes as well.
The guided trips are timed according to the best fishing times of the day, and half days do not include lunch. Meanwhile, at the store, there’s a great one-hour class just for kids who want to learn how to the basics of casting and fly-fishing.
