Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade Route and Where to Watch Map

Get the best spot to watch the country’s oldest Thanksgiving Day parade

The 1.4-mile 6ABC Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade serves as the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season — and it’s one of Philadelphia’s most beloved traditions.

Date: Thursday, November 23, 2017, 8:30 a.m. to noon
Location: Starting point: 20th and JFK Boulevard; Parade route then runs along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway

The city streets make way for massive floats and giant balloons, plus local performers from choirs, dance groups, marching bands and more. Now in its 98th year, the annual Thanksgiving Day parade promises another visual and celebratory feast.
