georges’
Georges Perrier’s stylish French restaurant on the Main Line
Description
georges’ is another restaurant from famed restaurateur Georges Perrier, the man behind the acclaimed Le Bec-Fin and Brasserie Perrier (now closed). georges’ is Chef Perrier’s answer to casual stylishness on Philadelphia’s Main Line.
georges’ presents global cuisine with varied selections along with unique presentations. The restaurant’s warm inviting atmosphere is the perfect place for a quick bite, an intimate meal, or a fun meeting place to gather with family and friends.
The menu accommodates ranging from casual fare like brick oven pizzas, a black angus burger, and a cheesesteak with gruyere, to more traditional dishes like the bouillabaisse, roast filet mignon, dried cherry braised short ribs and crab cake St. Germain.
The decor resembles the style of a French country chateau. On the main floor, lined with French terra cotta tiled floors, there is a spacious lounge, an exposed pizza oven as well as tables for dining. There is also a large sofa around a warming fireplace that creates an intimate and cozy place for enjoying cocktails.
georges’ also features a garden area for outdoor dining during the spring and summer.
