Pub & Kitchen
Quality pub fare and cold craft beers since 2008
For more than six years, Pub & Kitchen one of Philadelphia’s quintessential restaurants for quality dishes, craft beers and elevated brunch offerings.
Since 2008, Pub & Kitchen has been a comforting neighborhood staple with its selection of local beers on tap (“Pub”) and mouth-watering gourmet fare (“Kitchen”).
Pub & Kitchen’s menu features traditional pub offerings, including the lauded P&K Cheeseburger, served with gourmet flair from Chef Eli Collins. Menu additions like fresh, seasonal pastas and whiskey-sage bread helped Collins garner a “(external)three-bell review”: from Inquirer food critic Craig LaBan.
The ever-evolving menu places an emphasis on seasonal ingredients and satisfying flavors. At the bar, enjoy a quirky selection of bar snacks including deviled eggs, smoked chicken wings and the aforementioned whiskey-sage bread.
Brunch offerings include pancakes, grilled gem lettuce and powerful cocktails like the Wrangler, Pub & Kitchen’s spicy take on a Bloody Mary. Brunch service is available Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Pub & Kitchen is your perfect neighborhood bar. Its lack of pretentiousness, tasty yet inexpensive food and fully-stocked bar make it a place you can easily visit for a quick drink or a lengthy meal with friends.
Wooden booths and spruce plank tabletops lend a rather dark vibe to the front bar, while white lights illuminate the space with a hint of romance. The night’s beer menu is scrolled in chalk above the bar — a hint that, the next time you stop by, new beer selections will probably be greeting you.
The back dining room is more open, inviting your party to relax, talk and leisurely enjoy your meal.
During the warmer months, Pub & Kitchen expands outside to include sidewalk seating. (Happy Hour, anyone?)
So when April rolls around, grab a table outside and toast to the warm weather with a cool glass of beer and a burger.
Looking for that perfect place to cap off your night? You found it — Pub & Kitchen serves dinner until 1 a.m. with bar service until 2 a.m.
