The hardest restaurant in America to get a reservation is also a stellar market
Kennett Square’s Talula’s Table has been crowned by NPR as being one of the hardest restaurants in America at which to get a reservation. That’s because the restaurant’s one table for 12 books by phone exactly one year in advance, to the day.
The “Farmtable Dinner” that’s served features an elaborate menu of only the finest ingredients at their best. Each item is sourced and prepared specifically for each evening. Each course builds upon the previous, with each plate designed to showcase the individuality of each item as well as the harmony of the components together. The evening is completed with an artisanal cheese course, espresso service, and a stunning dessert.
While dinner reservations at Talula’s Table may be notoriously difficult to get, the boutique Market is an easier get. It sells offers specialty ingredients as well as freshly made pastries, breads, oven-ready takeaway meals, soup, artisan cheeses, fresh bread and other farm-to-table favorites.
