You thought we were done?
As the nation celebrates its 250th birthday in 2026, Philadelphia — aka the birthplace of America — keeps showing up and showing out long after the fireworks.
See one of the world’s greatest collections of American art at A Nation of Artists, then immerse yourself in the 250-year pursuit of a more perfect union at The Declaration’s Journey.
Celebrate Philly achievements all year long, from 52 Weeks of Firsts to Rocky Season.
And explore rare artifacts in new galleries at the National Constitution Center, or discover a brand-new attraction at the First Bank of the United States — open to the public for the first time in 50 years.
In short: There’s no place on Earth like Philadelphia in 2026.
We’re not the only ones saying it. Travel + Leisure, National Geographic, CNN, BBC Travel, Architectural Digest, and more have all named Philly one of the world’s must-visit destinations for 2026.
This is a once-in-a-generation moment. You won’t want to miss it.
