We have a home run, Philadelphia!
La Major League Baseball All-Star Game, also known as the “Midsummer Classic,” will return to South Philadelphia in summer 2026 at Citizens Bank Park.
Baseball’s best will face off once more in the City of Brotherly Love — for the fifth time ever and the first time at Citizens Bank Park — to help celebrate the 250th anniversary (Semiquincentennial) of American Independence.
The 2026 Midsummer Classic will also be the fourth time in Phillies franchise history that the team hosts the game. (Philadelphia previously hosted the All-Star Game in 1943, 1952, 1976 and 1996.)

Before the boys of summer hit Philly in 2026, though, the All Star Game will be played in Cleveland, Los Angeles and other U.S. cities.
Stay tuned for more on this exciting matchup!
In the meantime, get out to the ballpark this season in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Phillies play at home seven more times this April alone. In other words, there are plenty of chances to root for the home team over the next few weeks and months.
Go Phillies!
