Are you ready for it?
Taylor Swift comes home (she’s from nearby Reading, Pennsylvania) this weekend for three nights of sold-out shows — May 12, 13 & 14, 2023 — spanning every era of her musical career.
And as her first tour in five years, it’s kind of a big deal.
Tay-Gate parties, Swiftie trivia nights, specialty cocktails, themed dance parties, an official mural unveiling and even a donation to youth music education are just a few of the ways the city is celebrating Taylor’s return to Philly.
Read on for where to catch T-Swift festivities before — and after — the shows in Philadelphia.
To welcome the superstar singer-songwriter, Visit Philadelphia took a cue from Swift’s history of philanthropy — and her love of the number 13 — by making a $13,000 donation to Rock to the Future, a Philly-based nonprofit supporting youth through student-driven music programs. The contribution supports 13 months of music education for an entire class of students.
(And if the video below reaches a combined 13,000 likes on TikTok epi Enstastag, Visit Philadelphia has pledged an additional $13,000.)
