a.kitchen
Open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, a.kitchen is a contemporary American restaurant with a focus on bold flavors and seasonal ingredients. The menu features fresh ingredients and innovative preparations, all done with deceptively simple aplomb.
Curated by seasoned sommelier Frank Kinyon, a.kitchen’s wine list is one of the most compelling in the country. The restaurant’s collection of more than 300 bottles has been recognized by Wine Enthusiast and the James Beard Foundation, and includes many in-demand Old World-style artisan grower-producers as well as a large selection from leading natural winemakers.
The hotel’s Suite Sommelier program allows you to experience a.kitchen’s stellar wine program for yourself without leaving the comfort of your suite with personalized wine recommendations and on-demand bottle delivery from Kinyon.
a.bar
Just next door, a.bar is a refined yet unpretentious 42-seat cocktail bar facing Rittenhouse Square. Guests enjoy fresh seafood, charcuterie and snacks while sipping on house cocktails or a perfectly paired glass of wine.
Beautifully furnished studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and specialty suites at AKA Rittenhouse Square offer complimentary in-suite internet, fully equipped kitchens and spacious living areas. Plus, many offer spectacular views overlooking Rittenhouse Square.
Residents get access to on-site business services, conference rooms with teleconferencing capabilities, an intimate film screening room (a.cinema), and preferred seating at a.kitchen + a.bar, AKA’s critically acclaimed food and drink establishment (see above).
Guests also enjoy in-suite beauty and wellness services with the hotel’s micro-retreat offer, complimentary access to the second-floor Technogym fitness center, and access to the wellness and fitness facilities on Level28 at AKA University City at no additional cost.
