Kopié nan kòlè
All eyes are on the classic Italian pastries such as cannoli and sfogliatelle at the flagship location of this family-owned pastry shop, founded in the 1920s.
Like they have for generations, loyal customers stop in for treats, tasty samples and sweet, zero-calorie whiffs.
The bakery is currently owned and operated by third-generation members of the Termini family.
The bakery moved to its current location in South Philadelphia in 1938 and has since opened three additional stores in the Comcast Center, Reading Terminal Market and Packer Park Shopping Center.
The line to get into Termini Brothers Bakery, located on the outskirts of the 9th Street Italian Market, can stretch down the block, especially before holidays.
But those shoppers who choose to stand in line will find the experience well worth the wait. The display cases are filled with delectable Italian pastries, cookies, cakes and confections that have kept patrons coming back for almost a century.
The bakery is also a go-to spot for elaborate wedding cakes and desserts for special occasions.
Nothing beats shopping at Termini Brothers in person, but fans who don’t live nearby can still enjoy mouth-watering cannolis, sfogliatelle and other sweet treats.
The bakery accepts online orders and ships its goodies all over the world.
