Overview

Explore Philadelphia’s architectural past, present and future with award-winning guided Architecture Walking Tours of Philadelphia.

More than 70 different tours, run by the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, are led by a knowledgeable group of volunteers.

Each 90-minute tour takes groups through various sections of the city, including Society Hill, Rittenhouse Square, Fishtown, Girard Estate and Chestnut Hill.

Along the way, participants learn about region’s architectural heritage and social history.

Themed tours are also available, such as the “Littlest Streets,” “Art Deco Philadelphia,” “Skyscrapers Old and New,” and “Ben Franklin’s Philadelphia.”

A small selection of free, self-guided tours are available as well.
