Flavors on the Avenue: A Street Festival
The annual springtime taste of Passyunk’s restaurant row
April 30, 2017
East Passyunk’s Flavors of the Avenue becomes Flavors on the Avenue this year, moving out from beneath the tent where the annual event is usually held and onto the actual Avenue!
A springtime favorite, the event brings the neighborhood’s top restaurants together for an outdoor celebration where visitors can sample dishes from more than two dozen of East Passyunk’s award-winning chefs and eateries.
A plethora of fun festivities and activity stations for those of all ages will also be present throughout the neighborhood, including a music zone, an art zone, an activity zone at the Singing Fountain and a neighborhood-wide scavenger hunt.
Dozens of crafters will set up along the avenue, too, offering handmade candles, jewelry, furniture, art and more, and from noon to 4 p.m., the Philadelphia Museum of Art will host an art show at The Gateway, at Broad Street and East Passyunk Avenue.
