The Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing is home to free, alfresco concerts on Friday nights, and certain Saturdays, all summer long. From jazz to gospel to R&B, the Summer Concert Series has something for every music lover.

Fam Jams! (July 3)

The free, all-ages concert returns for a fourth season on the Riverstage. Spend the afternoon at Penn’s Landing listening to great music and taking part in family-friendly activities.

This year’s concert is headlined by Emily Osment, known for her role on the Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana”, and also features Australian artists Cody Simpson and former American Idol contestant Tim Urban.

The fun kicks of on Sunday, July 3 from 1 – 5 p.m.

Smooth Jazz Summer Nights (August)

The sounds of Smooth Jazz artists will fill the air on the RiverStage at Penn’s Landing every Friday night in August at 7:30 p.m.

The 14th season of the summer concert series will feature numerous local and national artists including Kevin Eubanks, Raul Midon, the famous Sax Pack and more.

Songs of Gospel Concert! (August 27)

Enjoy the inspirational and uplifting “Sounds of Gospel Concert” featuring Stellar, Dove and Grammy award winning recording artist Israel Houghton as well as local groups, the Bryant Pugh Band and Henry Hall and New Dimension.

The joyful event takes place at the Waterfront on Saturday, August 27 from 4 – 9 p.m.

Philadelphia Doo Wop Festival (September 17)

Celebrate the playful, passionate sounds of Doo Wop during a free concert on the RiverStage featuring Speedo and the Cadillacs. Relive some of the greatest hits in the classic genre from 1 – 7 p.m.
