Overview

As the weather cools, action at cold-weather attractions heats up in Philadelphia. On Friday, November 10, the Rothman Institute Ice Rink at Dilworth Park will reopen for its fourth year of seasonal skating.

Those looking to ice skate in the heart of Philadelphia can pack up their cold-weather gear and head to the rink at Dilworth Park, where skyline views await just outside of City Hall.

The ice rink is open to skaters of all levels and all ages.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 10 and under. Those who do not have their own ice skates can rent a pair for $10.

The Rothman Cabin

Returning to keep you warm after a nice, brisk skate, the Rothman Cabin will once again offer a heated tent, located at the tip of the ice rink. Enjoy hot, seasonal cocktails like spiked hot chocolate, a variety of craft beer and a food options including poutine and chili.

America’s Garden Capital Maze

America’s Garden Capital Maze is back for a second season at Dilworth Park. The popup maze-meets-garden, created in partnership with Greater Philadelphia Gardens, features tons of twinkling lights and seasonal plants that showcase more than 30 public gardens, arboreta and historic landscapes located within 30 miles of Philadelphia.

Wander through the holiday-inspired America’s Garden Capital Maze and take advantage of the many photo opportunities that await.
