The Rothman Ice Rink
at Dilworth Park
Three months of ice skating right next to City Hall
November 13, 2015 – February 28, 2016
As the weather cools, action at cold-weather attractions heats up in Philadelphia. On Friday, November 13, the Rothman Institute Ice Rink at Dilworth Park will reopen for its second year of seasonal skating.
Those looking to ice skate in the heart of Philadelphia can pack up their cold-weather gear and head to the ice rink at Dilworth Park to take in skyline views while skating.
The ice rink is open to skaters of all levels and all ages, and those who aren’t so familiar with ice skating can take part in a $70, four-class learn to skate lesson on Sunday mornings.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 10 and under. Those who do not have their own ice skates can rent a pair for $9.
The popular ice rink will remain open until Sunday, February 28, 2016.
New For 2015
This season, Rothman Cabin will debut — a heated tent that is located at the tip of the ice rink. Inside of the tent, skaters can warm up with food and drinks from Garces Events including toasty hot chocolate, coffee, burgers, fries and more.
Stay tuned for even more on this winter attraction including a number of special events throughout its season.
