VISITE FILADELFIA® today announced that it is the recipient of a Social Media Stars 2022 Award for Best Instagram Presence for a Brand. Thirteen awards were given out at Social Media Day PHL, the most prominent gathering of communications professionals in the Philadelphia area, on June 30, 2022. Run in partnership with the Philadelphia Business Journal, the awards recognize the region’s best projects, people and campaigns in digital and social media marketing.
With 260,00 followers and counting, the Visit Philly Instagram account serves as an official guide for all-things Philly. Its vibrant photos and fun stories and reels show locals where to go, what to do and why they need to visit Philly now. Other finalists in the Best Instagram Presence for a Brand were Axia Women’s Health and Tattooed Mom.
“The real winners of this award are the diverse attractions, museums, restaurants and shops that shine so brightly in the photos and videos we post,” said Eric Cortes, director of social media strategy and innovation. “Both of our Instagram accounts are a representation of what Philadelphia is: diverse and innovative.
