2026 Guide to Philly's Top Holiday Light Shows & Tours

The holiday season shines bright in Philadelphia ...

Who couldn’t use a little more sparkle in their lives this time of year?

Luckily, Philadelphia puts on a heck of a (light) show all season, filling those long, nippy nights with millions of twinkling lights.

Ranging from traditional to cutting-edge, professional to DIY, you have your pick of holiday light shows and displays across the region

Party under the lights at seasonal festivals at City Hall, LOVE Park and Franklin Square, or watch beloved Philly landmarks get the ultimate seasonal makeover at attractions like the Philadelphia Zoo and Longwood Gardens.

Bask in the seasonal glow from the comfort of your own car — or a festive, cozy wagon, perhaps — at drive-thru displays like the one at Shady Brook Farm in the countryside.

Or stroll amazing neighborhood displays, hot cocoa in hand, along Main Street or at community celebrations in Skippack, West Chester and Medya.

Experience all the Yuletide magic for yourself with our guide to free and ticketed holiday light displays and BYOB trolley tours throughout Greater Philadelphia for 2026.

Ho ho hold on! One final note: We’ll continue to update this list as more light shows and displays for 2026 are announced, so be sure to check back for more additions.

Illuminaire Nights in Skippack

November 27 – December 18, 2026 (Fridays)

A celebration of the ubiquitous Christmas luminaire — the decorative candle-in-paper-bag holiday lanterns that line walkways, driveways and curbs across the region — set Skippack aglow during Illuminaire Nights in the historic Skippack Village shopping district in Montgomery County.

To welcome the holiday season, the luminaires frame the sidewalks outside stores and restaurants on Friday nights from 5 to 8 p.m., with many shops extending their open hours and typically offering special surprises for shoppers.

Fun fact: Local entrepreneurs run all of Skippack’s shops and restaurants.
