Waterfront Winterfest at Penn’s Landing
Pop-up winter village on the Delaware River Waterfront
November 28, 2014–March 1, 2015
The Delaware River Waterfront is getting into the holiday spirit with the opening of the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest. Building off the success of the summer’s Spruce Street Harbor Park, the revamped holiday attraction features ice skating, food and drink, shopping and family-fun on the waterfront.
Expanding on the annual Blue Cross RiverRink and last year’s holiday pop-up winter garden, the Waterfront Winterfest, the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest is one of Philadelphia’s must-see holiday experiences.

Holiday Light Show
Repurposing the dancing lights from the summer’s popular Spruce Street Harbor Park, the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest has revamped its holiday light show.
The bright, colorful display features thousands of lights across the park that will be synced to music every 30 minutes (on the hour and half-hour. Keep an eye out for the special magical ending at the end of each show.
After a few laps on the RiverRink, warm up inside The Lodge, a revamped indoor space featuring ski chalet-style heated tents, comfortable seating, indoor fireplaces and refreshments from Garces Events.
Whether you’re skating or just looking for a holiday retreat, The Lodge is a relaxing respite with a menu of tasty bites from Garces Events Executive Chef Adam DeLosso.
Warm up from the cold with a cup of coffee or grab something stronger at the bar. The bar at The Lodge features local craft beers, cocktails and spiked, hot drinks.
While you take a break from the frosty weather enjoy arcade games, oversized games and ever-changing daily entertainment.
