Essentials

Located approximately nine miles northwest from Center City Philadelphia in the historic community of Chestnut Hill — boasting more than 120 specialty shops and restaurants — the Chestnut Hill Hotel features 36 unique rooms with modern amenities.

The hotel splits its distinctive rooms into three separate buildings: the 27-room main building that showcases 18th-century-style decor; the “Post Office” building, with a 1950s, pop-culture theme inspired by Andy Warhol; and the historic “Carriage House” building, featuring a fireplace and reclaimed wood throughout each room.

The existing building — constructed in 1894 — was completely renovated in 2012.

Overview

All guest rooms at the Chestnut Hill Hotel are non-smoking and include a mini-fridge, flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi and more. Hotel guests also enjoy free parking, free breakfast and free 24-hour on-site fitness and business centers.

The Bombay Room accommodates an event or meeting for up to 40 people. The hotel is also dog-friendly and offers rooms with kitchenettes for long-term guests.

The hotel is conveniently located on Germantown Avenue, the neighborhood’s bustling main street, near many popular shops and restaurants.

With its proximity to SEPTA train stations, the Chestnut Hill Hotel is an excellent choice for visitors who plan to venture into Center City for business or sight-seeing.
