Featuring outdoor ice skating, a whimsical topiary garden, a chalet-style cabin and charming fire pits, the Winter at Dilworth Park programming turns the west side of City Hall into the ultimate seasonal destination.
Add in a festive holiday market filled with local artisans and a fun lineup of events and programming, and Dilworth Plaza’s cool weather attractions are sure to captivate Philadelphia residents and visitors of all ages all winter long.
This year, Winter at Dilworth Park runs from November 15, 2024 through March 9, 2025, with dates varying by attraction.
Winter at Dilworth Park transforms the foot of City Hall into a quintessential wintry getaway with iconic seasonal activities, family-friendly attractions, exciting events and ski lodge-like amenities.

You’re making a list and checking it twice. Cross everyone off your holiday shopping list while supporting local artisans and small businesses at the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market, running November 15, 2024 through January 1, 2025.

Shop handmade crafts, jewelry, artwork, home décor and treats from 40 local vendors scattered throughout the park, with a focus on Black-, Brown- and women-owned businesses.
Whisk around the ice in the shadow of City Hall at Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink from November 15, 2024 through February 23, 2025.
Featuring a new icicle-inspired illuminated art piece overhead, the rink offers timed tickets, good for 90-minute skating sessions. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online, with walk-up in-person sales based on availability.

Accessible sled skating is also offered from January 6 to February 23, 2025.
Rink admission is $9 for adults and $7 for kids 10 and under. Skate rentals and lockers are also available for $10 each. And February 3 through 18, guests can enjoy free rink admission on Mondays and Tuesdays.
After skating and shopping, defrost for a bit at Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin. Located right next to the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink, the cozy après-skate spot warms you up with pay-as-you-go seasonal dishes, cocktails, beer and hot drinks from November 15, 2024 through February 23, 2025.
The rustic ski chalet, adorned with seasonal decor, also offers a front-row view of the skaters and fire pits on the terrace at no charge.
The Wintergarden on the Greenfield Lawn adds a bit of festive greenery to the southern end of Dilworth Park from November 15, 2024 through March 9, 2025.

Hundreds of twinkling lights illuminate the rustic woodland décor, whimsical reindeer topiaries and seasonal foliage.
Guests are welcome to stroll through the picturesque garden or stop for a respite with some warm mulled wine from the Chaddsford Winery kiosk.

One of the best things about Dilworth Park? The public park-turned-winter wonderland is situated right above one of SEPTA’s main public transportation hubs, making it super easy for visitors to get to the destination and many other holiday festivities near City Hall.
SEPTA passengers can take buses, subways or trolleys to City Hall/15th Street Station and exit right into the heart of the action. Regional Rail trains are located just a block away at Suburban Station. And bike-share stations and paid parking lots are located nearby.
