Peddler's Village
Magical all year-round, Peddler’s Village really turns up the charm for the holidays.
Adorned with 1 million sparkling lights and festive decorations that warm even the coolest of hearts, the Bucks County attraction celebrates the season with visits from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, a massive gingerbread house display, live entertainment, parades and more.
And with 60-plus locally owned specialty shops, the village makes it easy to cross off that holiday shopping list, too.
This year, the holiday events at Peddler’s Village officially run from November 15, 2024 to January 11, 2025 (with a special pre-season event on November 8, 2024).
Just an hour north of Center City, Bucks County’s Peddler’s Village decks the halls (boutiques, eateries and greenery) with 1 million colorful lights, festive decorations and and a sprinkle of holiday magic.
A real-life Christmas village with 18th-century style buildings, brick paths and a ton of family-friendly entertainment, Peddler’s Village is a beloved cool-weather tradition for local couples, families and friends alike.

For 61 years, the quaint countryside town has invited holiday revelers to follow its dazzling lights, discover dozens of locally owned eateries and specialty shops (everything from apparel boutiques to bookstores and gift shops), and unlock their holiday spirit.
Featuring a number of free, family-friendly, and Santa-approved events, this year’s holiday happenings include live performances, special storytimes, a festival and parade lead by the man of the hour Santa Claus, and holiday food and drink specials.

Usher in the holiday season with a little one-on-one time with Mother Christmas herself. Join Mrs. Claus at Giggleberry Fair for an evening of letter writing, holiday crafting and story reading. Add in a few rides around the 1920s-era carousel, and you have the makings for a jolly good time. The family festivities are free — and the perfect prelude to all the holiday fun yet to come.
November 15-17, 2024
Let there be light! With a little help from the Clauses, Peddler’s Village flips the switch on 1 million twinkling lights, washing the town’s brick paths, shops and boutiques in light and color. Featuring live performances, extended shopping hours and the return of the highly anticipated gingerbread display, the Grand Illumination Celebration is just the kickoff to a full weekend of festive fun (November 15, 2024). The celebration continues on Saturday and Sunday with carolers, strolling street performers, a Singing Santa and more (November 16-17, 2024).
December 7-8, 2024
You heard right: Santa Claus is coming to town. Jolly old Saint Nick leads two days of parades and festivities through the streets of the village — and you’re invited to join in the fun. Enjoy live musical performances, family-friendly activities, and special holiday food and drink specials, in addition to Peddler’s Village’s regular holiday activities.
November 15, 2024 – January 19, 2025
We might as well call this The Great Bucks County bakeoff. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, this beloved family tradition challenges local bakers of all ages to hit the kitchen and bake up the most imaginative and delectable gingerbread creations imaginable. This year, expect over 100 hand-decorated houses (everything from your traditional gingerbread abode to cookie recreations of move sets) to be on display as part of the free exhibit.
