Philadelphia Phillies
Founded in 1883, the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team is the oldest continuous, one-name, one-city franchise in all of professional sports.
The Phillies are part of the National League East division.

It may have taken 28 years, but the Phillies once again reclaimed the World Series crown against the Tampa Bay Rays in 2008.
