Philly goes all out in the name of love, acceptance and LGBTQ+ visibility each fall during OURfest.
Standing for “Our Uniting Resilience Festival,” OURfest annually marks both National Coming Out Day and LGBTQ+ History Month with a massive party in the Gayborhood.
Themed “Out Loud, Out Front: Power Protection & Pride,” this year’s fest is a call for the LGBTQ+ community to come together and “set a new standard for inclusive, community-led Pride.”
Featuring live performances, all-ages programming, food and drink, artists, vendors, and scores of organizations promoting LGBTQ+ resources, the block party-style fest takes place Sunday, October 12, 2025 and is open to all, especially LGBTQ+ members and allies.
The largest celebration of its kind in the nation, OURfest (formerly OutFest) has been a beloved city tradition since 1990, highlighting Philly’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community.
This year’s festivities take place throughout the beginning of October, culminating with the main event: the OURfest Block Party & Festival.

Activating blocks across the Gayborhood on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from noon to 7 p.m., this street fest is one of the largest outdoor festivals in Philadelphia.
Here are some highlights, but keep an eye on the official website in the week before the event for the full list of vendors, performers and schedules.
Live Entertainment
Featuring not one but two stages, this year’s entertainment lineup is better than ever.
Don’t miss an all-day R&B showcase on the Soul Salon Stage, highlighting the power of music, Black artistry and LGBTQ+ expression.
Celebrating the full range of LGBTQ+ art and culture, the entertainment on the OURfest Main Stage ranges from live music and DJs to drag and ballroom performances to speeches from community voices.
OUR Festival & Resource Fair
This alcohol- and smoke-free zone caters to youth and families with bounce houses, drag story time, performances by young artists and more. It also features a resource fair connecting festivalgoers with advocacy groups and services.
Food & Drink
The fest’s Food Truck Market features a variety of bites and sips from East Coast vendors, while its three, 21-plus beer and cocktail gardens highlight longtime Gayborhood staples, like Franky Bradley’s and Tavern on Camac.
You can enter the gardens for free by engaging with one of the festival’s wellness initiatives and obtaining an MPox vaccination or by getting a rapid HIV test at sites like Mazzoni Center or Bebashi on the day of the event.
Sober Vibes
Enjoy entertainment catered to adults (though families are welcome, too) in this alcohol-free zone.
The Decompression Zone
Attendees in need of a relaxing place to reset can take advantage of this low-sensory space, complete with low music, comfortable seating, accessible bathrooms and more.

The OURfest Block Party and Festival takes place throughout the Gayborhood, spanning Walnut, Pine and Locust streets between 12th and 13th streets on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from noon to 7 p.m.
If you want a hassle-free trip, public transit is the way to go — and both the Walnut-Locust subway stop on SEPTA’s B (Broad Street) line and Regional Rail leave you just minutes away from the fun.
With so much happening on festival day, driving isn’t recommended. (However, there are parking lots a few blocks away.)
