There are plenty of reasons you might be craving a piece of Philadelphia.
Maybe you missed out on scoring the perfect memento while in town for a recent visit. Perhaps you’re a resident 2-1-5er eager to support a local business and show off your hometown pride. Or maybe, you’re a homesick Philadelphian looking to reconnect with your former hometown.
Introducing: Shop Philly, a seasonal curation of items that deliver the Philly connection you’re looking for via creative and inspiring products from the shops that make Philly so awesomely Philly.
Filled with cool clothing, fun food and drink offerings, relaxation must haves and loads of other can’t-get-them-anywhere-else items from shops in neighborhoods throughout the city, this Shop Philly collection, curated by Philadelphia Eagles first-year Cornerback James Bradberry, debuts just in time for the holiday shopping season, and it features items exclusively from Black- and Brown-owned businesses.
’Tis the season for giving (and winning) in Philadelphia, and we’re doing just that with a little help from Philadelphia Eagles first-year Cornerback James Bradberry.
Originally from Alabama, Bradberry is spending his first year in Philadelphia helping his team to loads of victories and exploring his new hometown, especially our vast and delicious cheesesteak scene.
James is proud of the holiday collection he’s curated and particularly proud that the collection is focused exclusively on Black- and Brown-owned businesses.
Though items in his collection will appeal to people with varying budgets and all sorts of interests — everything from stocking stuffers (a $7 bar of soap) to lavish gifts (a $325 pair of shoes, for example) — we’re pretty sure his relaxation picks (teas, incense, salt soaks and specialty soaps) might actually be on his own wish list for post-game recovery.
At 29 years old, Bradberry has diverse interests off the field. He’s a foodie who offers private cooking lessons to friends and family (check out his hot sauce and seasoning gift ideas), an avid reader (you’ll see multiple books in his collection), a proud dad (see his picks for kids) and a philanthropist.
Browse the collection below through mid-January 2023, purchase your favorite items for all the people on your holiday gift list, applaud yourself for supporting a local business and then plan to hit up the stores in person during your next Philly adventure.
The Visit Philly Overnight Package — booked more than 190,000 times since 2001 — comes with free hotel parking (worth up to $100 in Center City Philadelphia), overnight hotel accommodations and choose-your-own-adventure perks.
