Philly scores big — again!
The city has been chosen as one of 11 U.S. cities (in addition to three in Mexico and two in Canada) to host matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The biggest event in global sports will draw visitors from around the world to the City of Brotherly Love to see elite athletes compete for their countries on the pitch at Lincoln Financial Field.
We’re calling it now: 2026 is going to be a HUGE year in Philly. We’ll have the nation’s 250th birthday celebration, the MLB All-Star Game and now the FIFA World Cup.
We. Are. Pumped.
