The Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards officially announced its 2023 winners for the Top 15 Hotels in the Mid-Atlantic and Philly made the list — six times, in fact.

Not only did the City of Brotherly Love get featured more than any other city in the Mid-Atlantic category, but three distinguished Philly hotels broke the top five.

The highly anticipated Readers’ Choice Awards is the travel industry’s longest-running accolades list (and one of the most highly regarded). Over half a million Condé Nast Traveler readers participated in the survey and hotels were considered after receiving a minimum number of votes. This year’s winning hotels were decided based on readers’ overall five-point rating, which included service, accessibility, location, community and overall experience.

The featured hotels — and their placements — were:

  • No. 2 | AKA Rittenhouse Square: An intimate boutique hotel perfect for long stays, with spacious contemporary suites and full gourmet kitchens
  • No. 3 | The Logan, Philadelphia’s Hotel: A 391-room luxury complex with a rooftop bar and lounge, a steakhouse, and a hidden-away full-service spa
  • No. 5 | Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center: A hotel atop the tallest building in Philadelphia, offering a rooftop infinity pool and award-winning culinary experiences
  • No. 6 | The River House at Odette’s: A historic riverside hotel in New Hope with quaint rooms and a praise-worthy piano bar
  • No. 7 | The Rittenhouse: One of the most awarded luxury hotels in Philly, featuring elegant amenities like the Mary Cassatt Tea Room and a 15,000-square-foot spa, and
  • No. 8 | The Warwick Hotel, Rittenhouse Square: A sleek and stylish hotel with upscale dining, a massive fitness center and a legendary hair salon.

2023 has been a year full of Philadelphia awards and accolades.

Four Philadelphia chefs and restaurants cleaned up at the 2023 James Beard Awards, Philly was voted both “Most Walkable City” and “Best City for Street Art” in America by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, The New York Times published an intimate itinerary highlighting Philly’s oft-hidden charms, and, earlier this October, NBC’s hit travel show 1st Look featured 13 destinations, offering an on-the-ground glimpse of Philly food, art and culture.
