PHILADELPHIA, March 11, 2026 – Visit Philadelphia today announced a major upgrade to its popular Visit Philly Overnight Package, adding five new perks and access to new museum exhibitions during America’s 250th anniversary year. The 2026 package is designed to help visitors easily explore Philadelphia and the surrounding countryside, from The Franklin Institute to Longwood Gardens, while celebrating the nation’s Semiquincentennial in the Birthplace of America.

Visit Philadelphia recently surveyed past Overnight Package buyers and found that complimentary parking remains a top driver of bookings. That perk, a signature of the package since 2001, returns in 2026 with a value of up to $140, helping travelers skip the cost and hassle of finding a garage.

This version of the Visit Philly Overnight Package, with perks valued at up to $446, is bookable now at 36 participating hotels for one- or two-night stays from March 26, 2026 through September 7, 2026. To date, the original package has been booked more than 200,000 times, generating more than $35 million in room revenue for Philadelphia hotels.

“With 2026 on the horizon, we wanted to refresh our most popular package with new experiences that make it even easier to plan a trip,” said Jasmine Armstrong, senior director of hospitality and events at Visit Philadelphia. “We know travel costs add up quickly. Free parking and museum access help visitors build an itinerary, save money and spend more time enjoying everything Greater Philadelphia has to offer during this milestone year.”

“Philadelphia hotels have been preparing for 2026 for years, and we’re ready to welcome the thousands of visitors expected in the region this summer,” said Ed Grose, executive director of the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association. “We’re excited to host first-time guests and repeat visitors alike, and this package makes it even easier to book a stay, explore more and come back again.”
