Loews Philadelphia Hotel

Overview

The first skyscraper ever built in the City of Brotherly Love is home to Loews Philadelphia Hotel.

In April 2000, Loews Hotels restored the city’s landmark PSFS Building to its original grandeur and transformed it into a first-rate hotel.

Loews has kept many of the historical aspects of the hotel — for example, the once three-story banking room is now a beautiful banquet space that has preserved historical features, such as the bank’s safe, Cartier clocks and original marble.

Bank & Bourbon

Located on the ground-level of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, Bank & Bourbon’s exposed pipes, wooden beams and comfortable tufted leather banquettes create a classy, cozy dining experience.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the rustic yet modern restaurant showcases a rotating selection of farm-fresh American classics using seasonal, top-quality ingredients.

As its name suggests, Bank & Bourbon offers an extensive selection of top-notch bourbon and whiskey and features an innovative barrel-aging program for house-aged liquors and creative cocktails under the guidance of an experienced bourbon master.

The restaurant also offers intimate private tastings led by its expert bourbon master. Packages include pours of high-quality bourbon paired with cheese, charcuterie and/or a three-course dinner.

Amenities

The Loews Philadelphia features 581 guest rooms and 12 suites, luxuriously appointed and furnished to suit the needs of both families and business travelers.

In-room amenities include cotton sheets and robes, a pod-style coffee maker, make-up mirror, MP3-compatible alarm clock/radio, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi.

Amenities include complimentary cribs and baby bath amenity kits; a list of nearby pharmacies, pediatricians and family-friendly tourist attractions, activities and restaurants; and helpful items (as available) such as toys, car seats, strollers and bottle warmers. Kids under 18 stay free.

Pets

Guests can pamper their pooch (and kitty) in style.

Loews’ pet program offers an array of pet perks, including gourmet room-service menus for cats and dogs with items prepared by the hotel’s culinary teams.
