The Philadelphia Dance Company — better known as PHILADANCO! — presents electrifying performances that celebrate the nonprofit organization’s innovation, creativity and preservation of African-American traditions in dance.
Founded in 1970, PHILADANCO! also serves as an incubator for both emerging and established dancers and choreographers, offering several professional, apprentice and training programs. The dance company, which tours locally, nationally and internationally, is widely recognized for breaking cultural boundaries.
