Magical all year round, Peddler’s Village really turns up the cheer for the holidays.
Adorned with 1 million sparkling lights and enough gingerbread to house a gingerbread army, the Bucks County attraction celebrates the season with visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus and a Grand Illumination Celebration awash in color and carolers.
And with 65-plus locally owned specialty shops, the village makes it easy to cross off that holiday shopping list, especially on Small Business Saturday.
This year, the holiday events at Peddler’s Village officially run from November 20, 2026 to January 19, 2027.
November 20-22, 2026
Santa and Mrs. Claus flip the switch on 1 million twinkling lights, washing the town’s brick paths, shops and boutiques in color.
Those dazzling lights turn on promptly at 6:15 p.m. during the Grand Illumination Celebration on Friday, November 20, 2026, with stores staying open until 10 p.m. Pro tip: Arrive no later than 5:30 p.m. for the best views.
The illumination is only the beginning. The celebration continues with carolers, strolling street performers and other surprises from November 20 to 22, 2026.

November 20, 2026 – January 9, 2027
Bake it till you make it! Since 1984, this beloved tradition has challenged local bakers of all ages and experience levels to hit the kitchen and bake up gingerbread displays.
This year, expect over 100 hand-decorated baked goods — everything from your traditional gingerbread abode to Santa’s “unproductive” workshop — in this free exhibit at the Visitor & Event Center (Shop #25). Consider visiting weekdays, since weekend lines can be long.
December 5-6, 2026
You better watch out: Santa Claus is coming to town. Kris Kringle leads two days of walking parades — open to community groups — through Peddler’s Village starting at 12 p.m.
Enjoy live musical performances and family-friendly activities, plus holiday food and drink specials like the warming peppermint martini at Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant or Snowdrift, a mint stout from Free Will Brewing.
Saturday, November 28, 2026
Small Business Saturday is the mom-and-pop response to Black Friday. This festive shopping day hits harder at Peddler’s Village, where you’ll meet so many boutique owners.
Whether you’re looking for rare baseball cards at Colt’s Sports Collectibles or taste-testing artisan beef at Bucks County House of Jerky, it’s a small business vibe.
Also, know this: More than 50% of the shops are owned by women.

Fuel up on candy canes and grab your sneakers. Holiday Hustle returns for its sixth year, inviting runners to gear up in Santa hats, elf costumes and ugly sweaters.
This is a side hustle, so don’t be intimidated. You can choose the 2-mile or 1-mile run, open to runners, joggers and walkers (capped at 1,000 participants) of all ages and abilities.
Admission and parking at Peddler’s Village are free year-round. Food, drinks and select activities are available on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Note that Peddler’s Village is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and closes at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Yes, although keep in mind that the walkways can get congested during busy times. Giggleberry Fair, an indoor family fun center, is a good option for entertainment.
Driving is the easiest way. There are no SEPTA Regional Rails, buses or subways located within walking distance of the village. However, ride-sharing options abound.
Yes, but short leashes are required on your animal at all times. Note: The Grand Illumination Celebration isn’t the best time for pets.
