Feria del Barrio
Serving as one of Philadelphia’s largest celebrations of Latino arts and culture, the annual Feria del Barrio brings together thousands of community residents from throughout the Greater Philadelphia region for a free, family-friendly event featuring some of the world’s most renowned musical artists.
Dozens of community agencies, corporate sponsors and vendors line the city’s historical Centro de Oro and crafts, games and other activities are set up for children to enjoy.
Live Latin music and dancing keeps those of all ages entertained and a variety of authentic bites to eat are served up throughout the festival.
A free music, dance and art extravaganza celebrating Latino culture.
Those seeking a fun late-summer fiesta can look no further than the annual Feria del Barrio, the vibrant day-long celebration of Latino arts, education and community.
The free music, dance and art extravaganza hits the sidewalks of the historic neighborhood known as the center of Latino culture in Philadelphia — aptly named El Centro de Oro (The Golden Center).
Held on the streets and sidewalks on North 5th Street between Cambria and Lehigh, the event brings dozens and dozens of artisans and crafters, community agencies and local food vendors.
The all-ages festival also features a kids-only area with a slew of child-friendly activities.
Since 1979, Feria del Barrio has used live Latin music and dancing, Latino food delicacies, art and crafts and much more to celebrate Latino culture, family, and the economic and educational aspirations of the people of North Philadelphia.
