Overview

Get ready for National Coming Out Day — officially October 11, 2023 — with Out in the Garden, a series of free-to-attend, pay-as-you-go LGBTQ+ community events at the PHS Pop Up Garden at South Street.

The vibrant celebration features concerts, parties, special installations and pay-as-you-go refreshments, all in a lush garden oasis.

Out in the Garden takes place in South Street on select dates from September 7 – October 8, 2023.

The Experience

Out in the Garden celebrates love, resilience and community with a series of LGBTQ-centered events.

The festivities, hosted at the PHS Pop Up Garden at South Street, kick off with the unveiling of a vivid new floral installation at the garden entrance, inspired by classic Greek, Indian and Egyptian architecture and displaying the rainbow colors of the Pride flag (Thursday, September 7, 2023).

After the unveiling, grab a bite, have a cocktail (or several) and look forward to live performances, parties and other special events all throughout the month.
