The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” delights audiences year after year with their rousing and rollicking renditions of old standards, new hits and patriotic tunes.
The group returns to the Delaware River waterfront this year for another highly anticipated performance.
Also highly anticipated: the huge fireworks display that will follow.

Since 1922, the United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” has maintained a tradition of excellence as the premier musical organization of the U.S. Army and has played an important role in events of national and international significance.
The Band was founded by Army Chief of Staff General of the Armies John J. “Black Jack” Pershing to emulate European military bands he heard during World War I.
