Stephen Starr Restaurants
Map all locationsLooking for a Stephen Starr restaurant? The famed Philadelphia restaurateur has 10 here and he’s seemingly always working on something new.
Bon Appetit magazine named Starr “Restaurateur of the Year” in October 2005. His restaurants typically master cutting-edge concepts and sensational interior design, but all boast plenty of substance beyond the flashy style.
The original Buddakan and Morimoto (second outposts of both have recently opened in Manhattan) are still among the toughest reservations to get in town. Parc, Barclay Prime and Alma de Cuba are favorites along Rittenhouse Row. While places like Continental (both locations), El Vez and Jones cater to the twenty-something crowd.
