The Phlash will be following slightly different routes during the Wawa Welcome America! Festivities, June 29 through July 4.

Beginning on June 29, Phlash will skip Stop 18 at Eakins Oval. Then, on July 4, the service will begin and end at 12th and Market Streets (Stops 7 and 24) throughout the morning, from 9:30 a.m. until around 1 p.m., when the streets will reopen and the Phlash will continue normal service until the usual 6 p.m.

Signs along the Phlash route will mark the temporary changes.

Overview

The Phlash is a quick and easy connection between the city’s historic attractions and cultural institutions. It is one of the best ways to get around to more than 25 key locations in Center City and is just $2 each time you board! So hop-on and hop-off the purple trolley and see Philadelphia in a Phlash!

Why Use Phlash?

  • It’s quick with daily service every 15 minutes (9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.) from May 1 through October 31, 2011.
  • It’s easy with 27 stops in Center City Philadelphia including new stops near the African American Museum, Franklin Square, the Philadelphia Zoo and the Please Touch Museum.
  • It’s inexpensive at only $2 per person per ride. An individual all-day Phlash pass is just $5, and an all-day family Phlash pass (two adults and two children ages 6-17) is just $10. Children under 5 and seniors are always free.

Phlash Carousel Days

Every Saturday in June (June 4, 11, 18 and 25), you can ride the Phlash trolley, a quick and easy connection between the city’s historic attractions and cultural institutions, and then enjoy a carousel ride for free. Just show your Phlash receipt and receive a “Buy One, Get One Free” carousel ride and 10% off any purchase in the retail stores at the Philadelphia Zoo, Please Touch Museum and Franklin Square.
