Nominated once again by the experts at USA Today and 10Best.com, Citizens Bank Park scored a home run on Wednesday, claiming the top spot in the 2025 Readers’ Choice Award for Best MLB Stadium — just in time for Opening Day.

After ranking No. 3 in 2024, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies has risen to No. 1 this year, beating out nine other contenders, including Baltimore’s Oriole Park and Pittsburgh’s PNC Park.

The modern and fan-centered design of the stadium impressed the experts at USA Today and voters alike. A fan favorite is Ashburn Alley, an open concourse within the stadium that’s packed with local restaurants and baseball-themed interactive displays.

And let’s be honest, a winning stadium goes hand in hand with winning grub.

Beyond Philly classics like cheesesteaks and soft pretzels, the stadium serves up local favorites like Chickie’s & Pete’s legendary Crabfries and Federal Donuts’ indulgent fried chicken sandwiches. It’s no wonder that Citizens Bank Park also ranked No. 2 in Best Baseball Stadium Food.

Located within the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, the MLB stadium is a focal point of Philly’s vibrant sports scene. Just a short walk away, fans can enjoy the bustling Xfinity Live! dining and entertainment venue, and three convenient hotels for overnight stays.

The City of Brotherly Love’s bases are loaded with an impressive array of recent accolades and awards. In the past year, Philly has been named a top travel destination by Tripadvisor, the best city in America for street art by USA Today and one of the nation’s best food cities by Condé Nast Traveler.

Plus, let’s not forget the Eagles’ recent Super Bowl Championship.
