Philly Wine Week
Philly Wine Week returns March 30 – April 6, 2020, for another year of wine-centric events at bars and restaurants throughout Philadelphia over eight days of libation celebrations.
The annual festival features dozens of dinners, tastings, specials and more at many venues throughout the city, all designed to highlight wine as an approachable and fun beverage option.
Visitors find a range of large, small, fancy and casual participating spots, which in past years have included Amada, Barbuzzo, The Good King Tavern, South Philadelphia Tap Room, Tria, Bud and Marilyn’s, Vedge, Volver and Hungry Pigeon.
Philly Wine Week offers vino-fueled events at dozens of venues across the city.
Experienced wine lovers and enthusiastic novices alike find Philly Wine Week full of exciting events throughout the city to suit both their palates and budgets, including wine pairings, multi-course dinners, meet-the-maker nights and much more.
Opening Corks, Philly Wine Week’s official kick off party, pops off at XIX at The Bellevue Hotel on Sunday, March 29, 2020. Guests can sample hundreds of wines — including some rare varieties — at the party along with bites from places like South Philly Taproom, Hungry Pigeon, XIX and more.

Popular events returning for 2020 include Jet Wine Bar’s Rainbow Wine Night, featuring wines representing all colors of the rainbow; a pairing event with prosciutto di parma at Di Bruno Bros; and American Sardine Bar’s Backyard Wine BBQ.
A full list of 2020 events will be added to Philly Wine Cru’s website as they are confirmed. New and returning participants confirmed so far include Panorama, Bloomsday Café, Jamonera, Le Caveau, The Lunar Inn, Friday Saturday Sunday and Alimentari.
A few of the memorable wine-fueled events that Philly Wine Week participants have offered in the past include a “Women in Wine” night, wine-centric yoga classes and — in true Philly fashion — a wine pairing with Philly food favorites like cheesesteaks and soft pretzels.
