Did you know that more than 30 million people pass through Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) each year? And that almost half of those people are connecting in PHL with a quick layover before departing for their final destination?

Even if you’re only in PHL for a quick connection, you can still get an authentic taste of Philadelphia while you’re here.

We know what you’re thinking, and yes — you can get a great authentic Philly cheesesteak at the airport. Two famous cheesesteak purveyors have shops in PHL: Tony Luke’s is in the Terminal F food court and Geno’s Steaks is in the B/C connector food court.

For a pick-me-up, look no further than famous Philly coffee roaster La Colombe, which boasts two locations at the airport. And for sit-down restaurants, some big Philly chefs, including Jose Garces and Michael Schulson, have restaurants at PHL.

Don’t ever take flight or leave the Philadelphia International Airport hungry again. Read on about where to score a delicious and memorable dining experience in PHL, below.
