Thirsty? Bloktoberfest features a wide selection of craft beers and beverages available at multiple locations throughout the festival. Beer proceeds from the neighborhood event are reinvested into community schools, projects and area organizations.
As many as ten different breweries typically sponsor the event. Festival-goers can pick from a selection of seasonal pumpkin brews and festbiers, IPAs, ciders, ryes, pilsners and beyond.
In addition to the festival, Graduate Hospital is home to a ton of great bars, restaurants, shops and parks, so visitors should make sure to check them out while they’re in the area.
Visitors can simply take SEPTA’s Broad Street Line to the Lombard-South subway stop and will land right at the start of the festival.
No tickets are required — the event is free with pay-as-you-go food and two beer bracelet options. Beer bracelets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the festival.
