Overview

Spend the day relaxing with live jazz during the eighth annual Center City Jazz Festival. Part of Jazz Appreciation Month, the day-long festival taking place April 25, 2020 features more than 20 bands performing at several venues in Center City.

Jazz aficionados can enjoy live music at top-notch venues, which have included Fergie’s Pub, Franky Bradley’s, Chris’s Jazz Cafe and Time Restaurant in previous years. One ticket provides access to all Center City venues.

Participating artists in past years have included Ensemble Novo, Shakera Jones, The Landham Brothers, Odean Pope and more.

History

The day-long festival features more than 20 bands performing at several Center City venues.

The Center City Jazz Festival began in 2012 and featured 17 original bands from the Philadelphia and New York City areas. More than 500 jazz lovers came out for an exhilarating day of great music, made possible by a crowdfunding campaign.

The now-annual event continues to pay tribute to Philadelphia’s rich jazz history.

Tickets & More

All-access tickets for the Center City Jazz Festival are available at the door, or online at a discounted price.

Note: The shows often sell out prior to the festival and as such, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
