Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia
Heads up, lovers of superheroes, Stormtroopers and wizards.
Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia returns annually to the City of Brotherly Love for a pop-culture bonanza including a ton of special events, cool programming and visits from celebrities.
During this four-day event, thousands of fans of all ages descend upon the Pennsylvania Convention Center to celebrate the best in sci-fi, pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, original art and collectibles.
On the convention center floor, hundreds of exhibitors show and sell a wide array of action figures, T-shirts, themed accessories and so much more.
Beyond the browsing and buying, a fan-focused lineup of programming features celebrity Q&As, film screenings, comics- and graphic novel-themed sessions, costume contests and evening parties.
One of the biggest ticketed events to hit the Pennsylvania Convention Center each year, Wizard World Comic Con brings together thousands of fans to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more.
As anyone who’s been to a Comic-Con event before knows, the pop-culture convention is a mecca for cosplay and costumes. Attendees can expect sightings of every kind of character imaginable — from Disney princesses to original sci-fi creations.
Throughout the super-powered event, a number of special guests from pop-culture — actors, comic book artists, wrestling personalities — host special events for guests. In recent years, guests have included Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings), Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones), Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Game of Thrones), Charisma Carpenter (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Jewel Staite (Firefly, Stargate: Atlantis), just to name a few.
In both panel rooms and the main show stage on the exhibitor’s floor, an all-day schedule of programming delivers engaging talks, tournaments, film screenings, premieres and so much more.
